याकूब 4:1-2
[1] Where do the wars and where do the conflicts among you come from? Is it not from your passions that make war within your members?[2] You covet but do not possess. You kill and envy but you cannot obtain; you fight and wage war. You do not possess because you do not ask.

नीतिवचन 16:32
A patient man is better than a warrior, and he who rules his temper, than he who takes a city.

नीतिवचन 22:24
Be not friendly with a hotheaded man, nor the companion of a wrathful man,

मत्ती 5:22
But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment, and whoever says to his brother, 'Raqa,' will be answerable to the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, 'You fool,' will be liable to fiery Gehenna.

भजन संहिता 37:8-9
[8] Give up your anger, abandon your wrath; do not be provoked; it brings only harm.[9] Those who do evil will be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD will possess the land.

भजन संहिता 7:11
A shield before me is God who saves the honest heart.

२ राजा 11:9-10
[9] The captains did just as Jehoiada the priest commanded. Each one with his men, both those going on duty for the sabbath and those going off duty that week, came to Jehoiada the priest.[10] He gave the captains King David's spears and shields, which were in the temple of the LORD.

२ राजा 17:18
till, in his great anger against Israel, the LORD put them away out of his sight. Only the tribe of Judah was left.

नीतिवचन 14:29
The patient man shows much good sense, but the quick-tempered man displays folly at its height.
