Hosea 3:1-5
1. Then said the LORD to me: Go yet thy way and vow(wow) an advoutrous woman, whom thy neighbour loveth, as the LORD doth the children of Israell: how be it they have respect to strange gods, and love the wine cans.
2. So I gat her for fifteen silverlings, and for an homer and an half of barley,
3. and said unto her: Thou shalt bide with me a long season, but see that thou playest not the harlot, and look thou meddle with none other man, and then will I keep my self for thee.
4. Thus the children of Israel shall sit a great while without king and prince, without offering and alter, without priest and revelation.
5. But afterward shall the children of Israel convert, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king: and in the latter days they shall worship the LORD, and his loving-kindness.

Hosea 4:1-19
1. Hear the word of the LORD, O ye children of Israel: For the LORD must punish them, that dwell in the land. And why? There is no faithfulness, there is no mercy, there is no knowledge of God in the land:
2. but swearing, lying, manslaughter, theft, and advoutry have gotten the overhand, and one bloodguiltyness followeth another.
3. Therefore shall the land be in a miserable cause, and all they that dwell therein, shall mourn. The beasts in the field, the fowls in the air, and the fishes in the sea shall die.
4. Yet is there none, that will chasten nor reprove another. The priests which should reform other men, are become like the people.
5. Therefore stumblest thou in the daytime and the prophet with them in the night. I will bring thy mother to silence, and why?
6. my people perish, because they have no knowledge. Seeing then that thou hast refused understanding, therefore will I refuse thee also: so that thou shalt no more be my priest. And for so much as thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
7. The more they increased in multitude, the more they sinned against me, therefore will I change their honour into shame.
8. They eat up the sins of my people, and courage them in their wickedness.
9. Thus the priest is become like the people. Wherefore I will punish them for their wicked ways, and reward them according to their own imaginations.
10. They shall eat, and not have enough: they have used whoredom, therefore shall they not prosper: and why? they have forsaken the LORD, and not regarded him.
11. Whoredom, wine and drunkenness take the heart away.
12. My people ask counsel at their stocks, their staff must tell them. For an whorish mind hath deceived them, so that they commit fornication against their God.
13. They make sacrifices upon the high mountains, and burn their incense upon the hills, yea among the oaks, groves and bushes, for there are good shadows. Therefore your daughters are become harlots, and your spouses have broken their wedlock,
14. I will not punish your daughters for being defiled, and your brides that became whores: seeing the fathers themselves have meddled with harlots, and offered with unthriftiness: but the people that will not understand must be punished.
15. Though thou Israel are disposed to play the harlot, yet shouldest not thou have offended, O Juda: thou shouldest not have run to Gilgal,(Galgala) nor gone up to Bethhaven, nor have sworn, the LORD liveth.
16. For Israel is gone back like a wanton cow. The LORD therefore shall make her feed, as the lamb that goeth astray.
17. And whereas Ephraim is become partaker of Idols, well, let him go.
18. Their drunkenness hath put them back, and brought them to whoredom. Their rulers love rewards, bring (say they) to their own shame.
19. A wind shall take hold of their feathers, and they shall be confounded in their offerings.

Psalms 138:7-8
7. Though I walk in the middest of trouble, yet shalt thou refresh me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand upon the furriousness of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8. The LORD shall make good for me, yea thy mercy, O LORD, endureth forever: despise not then the works of thine own hands.

Proverbs 29:18-18
18. Where no Prophet is, there the people perish: but well is him that keepeth the law.

1 John 4:1-21
1. Dearly(Ye) beloved believe not every spirit: but prove the spirits whether they are(be) of God, or no:(or not:) for many false prophets are gone out in to the world.
2. Hereby shall ye know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is of God.
3. And every spirit which(that) confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is not of God. And this(the same) is that spirit of antichrist, of whom ye have heard, how that he should come: and even now already is he in the world.
4. Little children, ye are of God, and have overcome them: for greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5. They are(be) of the world, (and) therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth(hearkeneth)(attendeth unto) them.
6. We are(be) of God. (and) He that knoweth God heareth(hearkeneth unto) us: (and) He that is not of God, heareth us not. (And) Hereby know we the spirit of verity,(trouth) and the spirit of error.
7. Dearly beloved, let us love one another: for love cometh(is) of God. And every one that loveth is(all that love are) born of God, and knoweth God.
8. (And) He that loveth not, hath not known(knoweth not) God: for God is love.
9. In this(Herein) appeared the love of God to us ward, because that God sent his only begotten son into the world, that we might(should) live thorow him.
10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to make agreement(a satisfaction) for our sins.
11. Dearly beloved if God so loved us, (then) we ought also to love one another.
12. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfect in us.
13. Hereby know we, that we dwell(abide) in him, and he in us: because(For) he hath given us of his spirit.
14. And we have seen and do testify that the father (hath) sent the (his) son, (which is) the saviour of the world.
15. Whosoever confesseth that Jesus is the son of God, in him dwelleth God, and he in God.
16. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth(abideth) in love dwelleth(abideth) in God, and God in him.
17. Herein(Herefor) is the love perfect in(with) us, that we should have trust(confidence)(a free boldness) in the day of judgment, that(For) as he is, even so are we in this world.
18. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out all fear, for fear hath painfulness. He (therefor,) that feareth is not perfect in love.
19. We love him, for(becaude) he loved us first.
20. If a man say, I love God, and yet hate his brother, he is a liar. (For) How can he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, love God whom he hath not seen?
21. And this commandment have we of him: that he which loveth God, should love his brother also.
