Hosea 1:1-11
1. This is the word of the LORD, that came unto Oseas the son of Beeri, in the days of Oseas, Joathan, Ahaz, and Jezekiah kings of Judah: and in the time of Jeroboam the son of Joas king of Israell.
2. First, when the LORD spake unto Oseas, he said unto him: Go thy way, take an harlot to thy wife, and get children by her: for the land hath committed great whoredom against the LORD.
3. So he went, and took Gomer the daughter of Deblaim: which conceived, and brought forth a son.
4. And the LORD said unto him: Call his name Iesrael, for I will shortly avenge the blood of Iesrael upon the house of Jehu,(Iehu) and will bring the kingdom of the house of Israell to an end.
5. Then will I break the bow of Israell in the valley of Iesrael.
6. She conceived yet again, and bare a daughter. And he said unto him: Call her name Loruhamah (that is, not obtaining mercy) for I will have no pity upon the house of Israell, but forget them, and put them clean out of remembrance.
7. Nevertheless I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them even thorow the LORD their God. But I will not deliver them thorow any bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.
8. Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived again, and bare a son.
9. Then said he: call his name Lo amy. For why? ye are not my people, therefore will not I be yours.
10. And though the number of the children of Israell be as the sand of the sea, which can neither be measured nor told: yet in the place where it is said unto them; Ye be not my people: even there shall it be thus reported of them: they be the children of the living God.
11. Then shall the children of Judah(Iuda) and the children of Israel be gathered together again, and chose themselves one head, and then depart out of the land: for great shall be the day of Israel.

Hosea 2:1-22
1. Tell your brethren, that they are my people: and your sistren, that they have obtained(optayned) mercy.
2. As for your mother, ye shall chide with her, and reprove her: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband, unless she put away her whoredoms out of my sight, and her advoutry from her breasts.
3. If no, I shall strip her naked, and set her, even as she came into the world: Yea I shall lay her waste, and make her like a wilderness, and slay her for thirst.
4. I shall have no pity also upon her children, for they be the children of fornication.
5. Their mother hath broken her wedlock, and she that bare them, is come to confusion. For she said: I will go after my lovers, that give me my water and my bread, my wool(woll) and my flax, my oil and my drink.
6. But I will hedge her way with thorns, and stop(stoppe) it, that she shall not find her footsteps:
7. and though she run after her lovers, yet shall she not get them: she shall seek them, but not find them. Then shall she say: well, I will go turn again to my first husband, for at that time was I better at ease, than now.
8. But this would she not know, where as I yet gave her corn, wine, oil, silver and gold, which she hath hanged upon Baal.
9. Wherefore now will I go take my corn and wine again in their season, and fet again my wool and my flax, which I gave her to cover her shame.
10. And now will I discover her foolishness, even in the sight of her lovers, and no man shall deliver her out of my hands.
11. Moreover, I will take away all her mirth, her holy days, her new moons, her Sabbaths, and all her solempne feasts:
12. I will destroy her vineyards and fig trees, though she sayeth: lo, here are my rewards, that my lovers have given me. I will make it a wood, and the wild beasts shall eat it up.
13. I will punish her also for the days of Baal, wherein she censed him, decking him with her earings and chains: when she followed her lovers, and forgat me, sayeth the LORD.
14. Wherefore behold, I will call her again bring her into a wilderness, and speak friendly unto her:
15. there will I give her, her vineyards again, yea and the valley of Achor also, to shew her hope and comfort. Then shall she sing there as in the time of her youth, and like as in the day when she came out of the land of Egypt.
16. Then (sayeth the LORD) she shall say unto me: O my husband, and shall call me no more Baal:
17. for I will take away those names of Baal from her mouth, yea she shall never remember their names any more.
18. Then will I make a covenant with them, with the wild beasts, with the fowls of the air, and with everything that creepeth upon the earth. As for bow, sword and battle, I will destroy such out of the land, and will make them to sleep safely.
19. Thus will I marry thee unto mine own self forevermore: yea even to myself will I marry thee, in righteousness, in equity, in loving-kindness, and mercy.
20. In faith also will I marry thee, unto myself, and thou shalt know the LORD.
21. At the same time will I shew myself friendly and gracious unto the heavens, sayeth the LORD: and the heavens shall help the earth,
22. and the earth shall help the corn, wine, and oil, and they shall help Iesrael.

Psalms 138:4-6
4. All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5. Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD, that great is the glory of the LORD.
6. For though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly, as for the proud, he beholdeth them(him) afar off.

Proverbs 29:17-17
17. Nurture thy son with correction, and he shall comfort thee, yea he shall do the good at thine heart.

1 John 3:1-24
1. Behold what love the father hath shewed on us, that we should be called (and be in deed) the sons(children) of God. For this cause the world knoweth you not because it knoweth not him.
2. Dearly beloved, now are we the sons(chilren) of God, and(though) yet it hath(doth) not appear(appeareth not) what we shall be. But we know that when it shall appear, we shall be like him. For we shall see him as he is.
3. And every man that hath(all that have) this hope in him, purgeth himself,(themselves) even as he is pure.
4. Whosoever committeth(All that commit) sin, committeth unrighteousness also, for sin is unrighteousness.
5. And ye know that he appeared to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.(there is no sin in him)
6. As many as bide(All that abide) in him, sin not: whosoever sinneth(And all that sin) hath not seen him, neither hath known him.
7. Babes(Little children) let no man deceive(beguile) you; He that doth(worketh) righteousness, is righteous, even as he is righteous.(rightwise.)
8. He that committeth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth since the beginning. For this purpose(But for this cause) appeared the son of God, to loose(even to destroy) the works of the devil.
9. Whosoever is born of God, sinneth not:(All that are born of God do no sin) for his seed remaineth(abideth) in him,(them) and he(they) cannot sin, because he is(they be) born of God.
10. In this(And hereby) are the children(sons) of God known, and (also) the children(sons) of the devil. Whosoever doth(All that work) not righteousness, is(are) not of God, neither(nor) he that loveth not his brother.
11. For this is the tidings, that ye heard from(at) the beginning, that we should love one another:
12. (and) not (be) as Cain which was of the wicked(devil) and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? because(For) his own works(deeds) were evil, and his brother's good.(righteous.)
13. Marvel not my brethren if(though) the world hate you.
14. We know that we are translated from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother, abideth in death.
15. Whosoever(All that) hateth his brother, is a man slayer.(murderers) And ye know that no man slayer(murderer) hath eternal life abiding in him.
16. Hereby perceive we(are we assured of) love: (because) that he gave(left) his life for us: And (therefore) we ought also to give our lives for the(our) brethren.
17. Whosoever(He then that) hath this world's goods(the substance of the world) and seeth his brother in necessity,(have need:) and shutteth up his compassion from him: how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18. My babes,(little children) let us not love in word, neither in(nor with the) tongue: but with (the) deed, and in verity:(of a truth)
19. And(for) thereby we know that we are of the verity,(be of the truth) and will(can) before him put(quiet) our hearts out of doubt:(and so shall we certify our hearts in his sight.)
20. For(But) (if our hearts condemn us) God is greater than our hearts, and knoweth all things.
21. Tenderly(Dearly) beloved, if our hearts condemn us not, then have we trust to God ward:
22. and whatsoever we ask, (that) we shall receive of him: because we keep his commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight.
23. And this is his commandment, that we believe (on the name of) his son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave commandment.
24. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth(abideth) in him, and he in him. And hereby(thereby) we know that there abideth(dwelleth) in us of the(his) spirit which he gave us.
