Hosea ११:१-१२
१. When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
२. The more they were called, the more they went away; they kept sacrificing to the Baals and burning offerings to idols.
३. Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk; I took them up by their arms, but they did not know that I healed them.
४. I led them with cords of kindness, with the bands of love, and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them.
५. They shall not return to the land of Egypt, but Assyria shall be their king, because they have refused to return to me.
६. The sword shall rage against their cities, consume the bars of their gates, and devour them because of their own counsels.
७. My people are bent on turning away from me, and though they call out to the Most High, he shall not raise them up at all.
८. How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I hand you over, O Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender.
९. I will not execute my burning anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim; for I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not come in wrath.
१०. They shall go after the LORD; he will roar like a lion; when he roars, his children shall come trembling from the west;
११. they shall come trembling like birds from Egypt, and like doves from the land of Assyria, and I will return them to their homes, declares the LORD.
१२. Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit, but Judah still walks with God and is faithful to the Holy One.

Hosea १२:१-१४
१. Ephraim feeds on the wind and pursues the east wind all day long; they multiply falsehood and violence; they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried to Egypt.
२. The LORD has an indictment against Judah and will punish Jacob according to his ways; he will repay him according to his deeds.
३. In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his manhood he strove with God.
४. He strove with the angel and prevailed; he wept and sought his favor. He met God at Bethel, and there God spoke with us-
५. the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD is his memorial name:
६. "So you, by the help of your God, return, hold fast to love and justice, and wait continually for your God."
७. A merchant, in whose hands are false balances, he loves to oppress.
८. Ephraim has said, "Ah, but I am rich; I have found wealth for myself; in all my labors they cannot find in me iniquity or sin."
९. I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt; I will again make you dwell in tents, as in the days of the appointed feast.
१०. I spoke to the prophets; it was I who multiplied visions, and through the prophets gave parables.
११. If there is iniquity in Gilead, they shall surely come to nothing: in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls; their altars also are like stone heaps on the furrows of the field.
१२. Jacob fled to the land of Aram; there Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he guarded sheep.
१३. By a prophet the LORD brought Israel up from Egypt, and by a prophet he was guarded.
१४. Ephraim has given bitter provocation; so his Lord will leave his bloodguilt on him and will repay him for his disgraceful deeds.

Psalms १३९:१७-२४
१७. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
१८. If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.
१९. Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me!
२०. They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain!
२१. Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
२२. I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.
२३. Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
२४. And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Proverbs २९:२२-२२
२२. A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression.

Jude १:१-२५
१. Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:
२. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
३. Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
४. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
५. Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
६. And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day-
७. just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
८. Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.
९. But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."
१०. But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively.
११. Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam's error and perished in Korah's rebellion.
१२. These are blemishes on your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, looking after themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted;
१३. wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.
१४. It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,
१५. to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
१६. These are grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters, showing favoritism to gain advantage.
१७. But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
१८. They said to you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions."
१९. It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.
२०. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit;
२१. keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
२२. And have mercy on those who doubt;
२३. save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.
२४. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
२५. to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
